I bought this rare Monet et Goyon invalid carriage at the SHVPS Auto Jumble in June 2004.
It is powered by a 49cc mosquito engine working the RH rear wheel. Hand pedals drive the front wheel through a Sturmey Archer hub. Two brakes stop the front wheel, one in the hub, the other on the rim. Everything works but it is difficult to drive. I plan to ride it along Bournemouth Promenade someday.
